The age group swim start will feature a rolling start, allowing athletes to cross a timing mat on the beach before entering the water. This format ensures a smooth and safe flow of participants, with 4 to 5 athletes entering the water at a time. Upon completing the swim, athletes will have a 200m run to transition (T1). The swim will be non-wetsuit, with water temperatures around 28°C (82°F).

The one-loop bike course begins in Pantai Kok and heads clockwise along Jalan Teluk Yu, starting from the northwest point of the island. Athletes will navigate the rolling hills of Datai, passing through several local villages, or 'kampungs,' where they can experience the vibrant sights and sounds of the island's communities. Aid stations along the course are supported by local residents, adding to the community spirit.

Participants will enjoy the diverse wildlife and winding terrain, with scenic views including The Langkawi Falls en route to the Datai turnaround.
