LITE 2024: Langkawi’s Showcase of Tourism Potential and International Collaboration
The Langkawi International Toursim Engagement is a biannual event organized by the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) to promote Langkawi as a top island tourist destination. The event, which took place from August 6th to 9th, 2024, aimed to connect, collaborate, create, and forge partnerships for mutual benefits for tourism industry professionals, stakeholders, and government officials.
On the 7th of August, Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), under the Chief Exective Officer, Dato’ Haslina Abdul Hamid, with strategy partners including Toursim Malaysia, Berjaya Langkawi Resort, LangkawiBook, and Heavely, have enabled us to make this year’s LITE event one of the most successful. Without forgetting Langkawi Island Pass, that has supported us by sharing the Langkawi Island Pass booklets with all participants, offers a range of benefits and access options designed to enhance the visitor experience on Langkawi Island, such as discounts and deals, attraction access, and a long validity period.
One of the focuses of this event is to foster Langkawi tourism by enabling local agencies to expand their market in terms of offering tourist activities, accommodations, and services to international tourism agencies by buying-selling strategy.
